F. Cooper Held Wednesday Funeral services for William Frederick Cooper were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Tallulah Methodist Church with the Rev. W. F. Mayo, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. John Kilpatrick, pastor of the Rayville Methodist Church. Burial followed in the Masonic Cemetery in Rayville with Young's Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Cooper died Monday morning in a Memphis, Tenn., hospital from injuries received in an automobile accident in north Mississippi on February 26. A native of Rayville, La., he had made his home in Tallulah for a number of years. Mr. Cooper had been connected with the Co-Operative Gin Company. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Tanner Cooper, and four children, Berna, Marvin Clinton, Virginia and Elizabeth, all of Tallulah; his mother, Mrs. G. L. Compton of New Orleans; his father, Walter F. Cooper, Sr., of Valley Park, Miss.; three sisters, Mrs. Harry Status of New Orleans, Miss Sue Cooper and Miss Sally Cooper, both of Valley Park, Miss. ; and two brothers, Jack Cooper and Walter F. Cooper, Jr., both of Valley Park, Miss. Pallbearers were G. R. Whetstone, W. F. Powell, E. E. Shamblin (and others.)
