Cosse Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 28, 1950 Heart Attack Fatal To Mrs. James J. Cosse Mrs. Kathryn L. Cosse, age 49, died suddenly Monday afternoon at s approximately 5:30 from a heart attack. She was a native of Athens, Greece, and had been a resident of this community the past 20 years. Mrs. Cosse, who was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church, had recently celebrated her Silver Wedding Anniversary. She was a member of the Tallulah Chapter of the Eastern Star, No. 94. A short prayer was said Tuesday morning at the residence on North Cedar Street at 9 o'clock by the Rev. J. D. Gilliam, before leaving for Shreveport, where funeral services were held at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church at 4 p.m., with the Rev. N. Papapetrou, pastor, officiating. Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alex Booras, Jim Theo, Manuel Stlavolemos, George Casten, Steve Steles, Dan Booras. Mrs. Cosse is survived by her husband, Jim Cosse; one son, Johnny Cosse, Monroe; 1 daughter, Sylvia Cosse, Tallulah; 2 sisters, Mrs. Chryastallo Syriniyiotas, Mrs. Zoe Trygona, both of Athens, Greece; two brothers, George and Nicholas Liacopoulos, also of Athens,Greece. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Tallulah.
