All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Helen Couch - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 9, 1978 Funeral services were held today in Monroe for Mrs. Helen Couch, 41, a former Tallulah resident. Revs. Herman Savoie and Crawford Williams officiated at services in the Chapel of Xxxxick's Funeral Home in Monroe for Mrs. Couch, of 604 Zoe Street in Monroe. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Couch died Monday at Xxxxrod Hospital after a brief illness. She was a native of Forest and lived in the Tallulah area for several years before moving to Monroe. She was an employee of Central Bank there. Survivors include her husband, Gus L. Couch of Monroe; two sons, Gus L. Couch Jr. and Terry Couch both of Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Lambert and Miss Sherry Couch both of Monroe; her mother, Mrs. Leona Rushing of Forest; her father, Roy Rushing of Bastrop ; two brothers, Hermann Rushing and Timothy Rushing both of Bastrop; three sisters, Mrs. Ruby Williamson of Forest, Mrs. Pat Langston of Collinston, and Mrs. Aliene Ray of Mer Rouge. Pallbearers were Don Finley, Kent Hale, Gary Hamilton, Ross Johnston, Ken Pettitt, Robert Watson, Olin Hall and R. F. Wilson.
