Funeral services for Mrs. Ada Louise Roberson Cox, age 87, will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Tallulah, Louisiana, with Rev. Jay Parker and Dr. Jason McGuffie officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow the funeral service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.

Mrs. Louise passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Landmark Nursing Home in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was born December 10, 1934, in Tallulah, Louisiana, to William Edward Roberson and Alma Lou Machen Roberson. She married Clayton Wells Cox, and they made their home in Tallulah where they raised two sons. Mrs. Louise started work at South Central Bell in Tallulah in 1953, where she worked until her retirement in 1986 after 31 ˝ years of service. Mrs. Louise was a faithful member at First Baptist Church in Tallulah for many years. She was head of the bereavement committee, an active member of WMU, and helped with the youth group as well as serving on various other committees.

Mrs. Louise is preceded in death by her parents, William Edward Roberson and Alma Lou Machen Roberson; husband, Clayton Wells Cox; son, Garland “Mike” Michael Cox; brothers, Edgar Garland Roberson, Carl Casimer Roberson, and Charles Leonard Roberson; and sisters, Cora Mae Reeves, Gloria Beatrice Bradley, and Alma Faye Harmon.

Mrs. Louise is survived by her son, William “Billy” Wells Cox and wife Thelma of Calhoun, Louisiana; grandchildren, Clayton Kyle Cox, Kayla Cox Gosdin, Kody Wells Cox, Kasey Cox Netherland, and Brady Michael Cox; and great grandchildren, Clayton Cox, II, Chloe Louise Cox, Carter Aaron Cox, and Isla Jane Netherland.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Cox, Kody Cox, Scotty Gosdin, Bryan Netherland, Brady Cox, Craig Cox, Cole Williams, and Eric Givens.
