All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Sonja Cox - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post December 27, 2013 TALLULAH, La. — Sonja Cox, a lifelong Tallulah resident, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013. She was 62. Ms. Cox was born June 19, 1951, in Delhi, La., to Jack Varner Sr. and Lila Varner. She was raised in Tallulah and graduated from Tallulah High School. After high school, she had a career as a dental assistant. Besides her parents, survivors include two daughters, Beth and Arla Cox; and two brothers, Jackie and Kent Varner. Memorial services were held today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.
