Craig - Madison Parish, LA From Tallulah Madison Journal August 6, 1954 Bertha M. Craig (Upper portion of obituary missing.) Mrs. Craig was well-known in Madison Parish and active in the Craig Insurance Agency of Tallulah. She was one of four sisters and had a very good disposition. Mrs. Craig leaves a son, Emmett C. Craig, of Tallulah; two brothers, Julian D. Monette, Jackson, Miss., Arthur G. Monette, Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Anita Brakefield of Shreveport; and two grandchildren. The Rev. J. Daniel Gilliam officiated and burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery. Youngs' Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Pallbearers included: Carroll Crow, W. Z. Adams, Walter Scott, Jr., Warren Patrick, Harry Holt, Shields Bray and Jim Gilfoil.
