All rights reserved. ************************************************ Dorothy Watts Crosby - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Minden Press-Herald December 14, 2004 Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy Watts Crosby, 88, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. Bill Crider officiating. Services are under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. today, Dec. 14, at the funeral home. Mrs. Crosby passed away Sunday, Dec. 12. She was born in Sumrall, Miss., to Lewis and Eleanor Watts. She resided in Tallulah most of her life before moving to Minden. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Minden. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. "Jim" Crosby; son, Dr. Robert T. Crosby; step-sons, Jim Crosby and Billy Crosby; her parents; brothers, Edward,Harry, William and Donald Watts; and sister, Martha Ayers. She is survived by her daughter, Dolores C. Calhoun and husband Don of Minden; grandchildren,Laurie C. Miller of Findlay, Ohio, Robert H. Calhoun of Shreveport, Mark S. Calhoun of Minden, David Lee Crosby of Stephens City, Va., Joe Turner Crosby of Madison,Ala.; and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.,or to the charity of the donor's choice.
