All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Carolyn Ann Hill Crow - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Tallulah, LA December 21, 2022 Carolyn Ann Hill Crow, of Lafayette, Louisiana, formerly of Lake Bruin in St. Joseph, and Delta, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022, after a short illness, at the Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, Alabama. She was 79. Carolyn was born to parents James and Eudora Hill in Mercedes, Texas. She grew up in Delta and graduated from across the river in Jett High School in Vicksburg, Mississippi. She married Carroll Talmadge Crow Jr. (“C.T” or “Tammy”), and they recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. Carolyn was a talented artist and cook extraordinaire. She enjoyed fishing on Lake Bruin and had a green thumb for flowers and herbs. She was also a master dewberry picker and cobbler maker. After her retirement from Tensas State Bank, she and Carroll tasted their way across the southeast as certified KCBS judges and as part of the Louisiana Barbecue Competitors Alliance, visiting festivals and competitions far and wide. Carolyn is survived by her husband, Carroll. She is also survived by her daughter Donna Crow Huggins, and husband Houston, of Athens, Alabama; son Christopher Crow and wife Heather, of Crawfordville, Florida; son Brion Crow and wife Anne-Kathryn of Pensacola, Florida; grandson William Dixon, wife Miranda, and great-grandson Cameron Tate of Madison, Mississippi; grandson Wesley Burcham and wife Meachelle of Oxford, Mississippi; grandsons Parker, Leyton and Brinson Crow of Crawfordville; and Prosser and Katie-John Crow of Pensacola; and her brother James J. Hill, Jr., of Lake Bruin. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Carson Burcham of Oxford, Mississippi. A family graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Huntsville Hospice Family Care, in care of the Huntsville Hospital Foundation at www.huntsvillehospitalfoundation.org
