Crow Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 3, 1995 Services for Carroll T. Crow Sr. were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tallulah Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Earl B. Wiggins officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery with Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah in charge. Visitation was held Monday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Crow died Sunday, April 30, 1995, at the Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah. He was 82. He was born in Star City, Ark., and retired as school principal of Tallulah Elementary School. He was a member of Tallulah Presbyterian Church where he was an elder for 46 years and elected elder emeritus in 1994. He was a member of the Louisiana Retired Teachers Association, Tallulah Lodge No. 308 F&AM, Tallulah Chapter Royal Arch Masons, Tallulah Chapter No. 94. Order of Eastern Star, Monroe Commandery No. 7, K.T., the Barak Shrine Temple of Monroe and the Madison Parish Historical Society. He was past president of the Madison Parish School Board, past president of Tallulah Chapter, Louisiana Teachers Association, and member of the Madison Chamber of Commerce. He is survived by his wife, Frances Rundell Crow of Tallulah; two sons, Carroll T. Crow Jr. of St. Joseph, and Francis Dwain Crow of Ferriday; one daughter, Alice Claire Orillion of New Orleans; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
