Cummins - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 26, 2000 Private graveside services for Mrs. Evelyn S. Cummins, 77, of Tallulah, were held Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, in the Silver Cross Cemetery, Tallulah, under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Mrs. Cummins died Friday, Jan. 20 in the Vicksburg Medical Center after a short illness. She was born in Ringgold, La., and had lived in Tallulah for 61 years. She was employed by the Louisiana State Department of Health. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She is survived by three sons: Lee Cummins and Mike Cummins, Tallulah, Chester R. Cummins, Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers: Joe Smith, Haughton, La., and Bill Smith, Shreveport; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
