Private graveside services for Mrs. Evelyn S. Cummins, 77, of Tallulah, were held Saturday, Jan. 22, 2000, 
in the Silver Cross Cemetery, Tallulah, under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral 
Home with Rev. John Rushing officiating.

Mrs. Cummins died Friday, Jan. 20 in the Vicksburg Medical Center after a short illness. 

She was born in Ringgold, La., and had lived in Tallulah for 61 years. She was employed by the Louisiana 
State Department of Health. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tallulah.

She is survived by three sons: Lee Cummins and Mike Cummins, Tallulah, Chester R. Cummins, Little Rock, Ark.; 
two brothers: Joe Smith, Haughton, La., and Bill Smith, Shreveport; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
