All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Elizabeth Mae Curry - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star April 7, 1959 TALLULAH (Special) — Mrs. Elizabeth Mae Curry, 72, died Monday night at her home in Delhi following a long illness. Prior to moving to Delhi three years ago, she had resided in Tallulah. Mrs. Curry was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include two sons, Vernon Curry of Natchez, Miss., and Alton A. Curry, with U.S. Air Force in Japan; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Charon and Mrs. Vera Dowe, both of Delhi; and Mrs. W. W. Ames of Lake Providence; six grandchildren; a great grandchild; and a brother, George McDonald of Delhi. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Methodist Church at Delhi with the Rev. Ira Love officiating. Interment will follow in Silver Cross cemetery here under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Carsie Lott, Jessie Graham, Albert Walker, Ralph Dowe, Stanley McEacham and Jake Welch.
