All rights reserved. ************************************************ Pauline Dacus - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, March 26, 2005 TRANSYLVANIA - Pauline Dacus died Friday, March 25, 2005, at Delhi Hospital. She was 84. Mrs. Dacus was born in Russellville, Ark., and had lived in Transylvania for 63 years. A retired nurse's aide, she was a member of Tallulah Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Holman E. Dacus of Transylvania; five daughters, Carolyn Dacus of Stafford, Texas, Marjorie Arrington of Richland, Miss., Jo Ellen Mitchell of Shreveport, La., Vicki Thompson of Benton, La., and Glenda Stanley of Transylvania; three brothers, Earl Gilbreath of Tallulah, Ivern Gilbreath of Collinston, La., and Billy Gilbreath of Bastrop, La.; and 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Richard Taylor and V.W. Hayhurst officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Lake Providence. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
