All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Peter Dahlhauser - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 5, 1963 Former Resident Dies Recently In Whittemore, Iowa Funeral services for Peter Dahlhauser, former resident of Tallulah was held recently in Whittemore, Iowa. A Solemn High Mass was said in St. Michael's Catholic Church, with burial following in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Whittemore. Mr. Dahlhauser moved to Louisiana in 1932 and he and his wife retired in Whittemore in 1945. He is survived by his wife; seven sons, Paul and Henry, West Bend, Iowa ; Arthur of Scotia, N. Y.; Edmond, Elgin, Ill.; Marvin, Lansing, Mich.; James and Peter, Whittemore; six daughters, Mrs. Tony Waechter, Mrs. Ray Montag, both of West Bend, Iowa; Mrs. Ray Mertz and Mrs. Bill Dearsch, both of Algona, Iowa; Mrs. Irwin Joynt and Mrs. George Stewart, Phoenix, Ariz.; four brothers, Alousious of Tallulah; Joseph of Vicksburg, Miss.; Michael of Stockton, Calif., and John of Peoria, Ill.; four sisters, Sister M. Presentation. Clara, Iowa; Mrs. John Laubenthal of Fenton, Iowa; Mrs. Albert Lubenthal and Mrs. Clara Thul, both of Whittemore, 64 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
