Peggy Dent passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020. She was 83 years old.

Peggy was born in Bernice, Louisiana and later moved to Tallulah until 1977. She then moved to Vicksburg, where she spent the rest of her life. She enjoyed gardening and fishing.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy McGarrh(John), and her two very special friends; Leslie Sanders and Becky Gilfoil.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gus and Lola Flurry, and her step-father, Van Flurry.

The family would like to thank a few special people in taking care of Peggy over the course of her sickness, they include; Dr. Walter Johnston, Dr. Elizabeth Herrington and her nurses; Jennifer and Beth. Nurse Pam Gillis at Amedisys Home Health Care, and Nurse Morgan at Herritage House Nursing Center.

Bro. Tommy Presson will be officiating the service.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, LA on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 10:00 am.
