All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Lola Dickerson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star September 2, 1969 TALLULAH (Special) — Mrs. Lola Dickerson, 59, of Bossier City, died today at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. V. Donham, after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Dale Wilson officiating, assisted by the Rev. S. T. Donaldson. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Old Southern Mortuary. Mrs. Dickerson was a native of Arkansas. Survivors include one son, J. W. (Red) Wilson of Tallulah; three brothers, Bob Williams and Charley Williams, both of Newellton and Ed Williams of Tallulah; three other sisters, Mrs. Carrie Smith and Mrs. Hodge Smith, both of Tallulah, and Mrs. Hazel Bennett of Seminole, Tex.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Artie Skelton, Dona[l]d Williams, Johnny Nolan, Dean Ashley, Paul Williams and William Givens.
