C. Dickinson Dies Friday In A Memphis Hospital Mrs. Frances Riley Dickinson, 63, prominent resident of Tallulah, died at 8 a. m. Friday, January 30th at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. Ill for several weeks, Mrs. Dickinson was taken to the Memphis Hospital Thursday evening, from Hot Springs, Ark., where with Mr. Dickinson, she had gone for her health. In 1932, Mr. and Mrs. Dickinson moved to Tallulah, when they built their beautiful home and have made many friends here. Born in Minnesota, she came to Louisiana as a child. Upon her marriage she and her husband moved to Memphis, where they made their home for thirty years. Mrs. Dickinson was an active communicant of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church of Memphis, but upon com-ing to Tallulah transferred her affiliation to the St. Agnes Catholic Church here. She leaves besides her husband, Charles C. Dickinson, president E. Sondheimer Co., three daughters, Mrs. Jeff Gros, Memphis, Tenn.; Sister Mary Esther, Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. M. J. Duffecy, Jr., Indianapolis, Ind. A grandson, Jack Gros, a brother, Ted Riley, Gueydan, La., four sisters, Miss Lavenia F. Riley, New Orleans; Miss Celeste Riley, Crowley, Mrs. Robert Bethany, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Jno. Gueph, Willows, Calif., and Mrs. Richmond Mulcahey of Plainville, Minn. Requiem Mass was said at 10:30 a. m. Saturday at the Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Spencer-Sturla Funeral Home in charge. Among the honorary pallbearers were: Dean Moberley, R. N. Ware, Jr., Lee Kathan and Dave Johnson. Active pallbearers were: Gus M. Irving, Lloyd Gilbert of Sondheimer and Douglas Heurer, Leslie Thornton, Bert Trankahn, Clark Wade, Gerald Wade and Curtis Parham all of Memphis.
