All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Albert Dunn Madison Parish, LA From The Tallulah Madison Journal (LA), October 21, 1938 Albert Dunn, 40, Takes His Life At Clinic Here Albert Dunn, 40, recently employed as a truck driver here, died in a local clinic some time Saturday night from what was said to be self-inflicted wounds. He was said to have stabbed himself in the heart in a fit of despondency from ill health. He had been ill for about five years, but had been a patient in the clinic for only two weeks. The funeral was held in the Delhi cemetery Monday afternoon with the Rev. Clarence Crow of the Tallulah Baptist Church, officiating. Dunn is survived by his wife, several step-children, two sisters and three brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Julia Meichael, of Alexandria, and Mrs. C. W. Creekbaum, of Tennessee. Dunn had been a resident of Tallulah for many years and was well known here. At one time he was in the employ of J. K. Post.
