Dunning April 14, 1971 - November 1, 2014 Funeral services for Mr. Daniel C. “Butch” Dunning, age 43, of Tallulah, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 4, 2014, in the First Baptist Church in Tallulah, with Bro. Jason McGuffie and Bro. Ron Burch officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, at 10:00 A.M. at the church until funeral time at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in the Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah, La., under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Dunning died Saturday, November 1, 2014, at his residence in Tallulah after a brief illness. He was born in Vicksburg, Ms., and grew up and lived in Tallulah. He lived in Arkansas, Kentucky, and Missouri, and then back to Tallulah. He was a lumber inspector and a saw mill owner and a member of Parkview Baptist Church. Mr. Dunning is survived by his wife, Dedra Dawn Dunning of Start, La., 2 sons, Dalton Daniel Dunning and Matthew Thomas Dunning, both of Start, La., and his parents, Tommy L. Dunning and Carol Louise Dunning of Tallulah, La., and numerous cousins and 1 nephew. Active pallbearers will be Neal Horath, Quintin Purvis, Wayne Stutts, Bubba Richardson, Dusty Butler and George Glass. Honorary pallbearers will be Bo Holloway and Bill DeWeese.
