Duplissey - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 30, 1966 Funeral Services Held For E. H. Duplissey Wednesday Funeral services for Edward H. Duplissey, 77, father of Mrs. Charles Brown, wife of State Senator Charles M. Brown was held at Crothers Funeral Home at 3 p. m. Wednesday with the Rev. John Hurt officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. A retired lumberman, Mr. Duplissey died unexpectedly Tuesday of a heart attack at the Delhi Clinic in Delhi. He was a native of LeCompte and had lived in Tallulah for a year. He was a World War I veteran and was a member of American Legion Post 14, Lowe-McFarland of Shreveport. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner. Other survivors are two sons, B. R. Duplissey of Winnsboro, and E. H. Duplissey, Jr., of Delhi; a brother, Tom Duplissey of Robeline; a sister, Mrs. Alice Chitty of Robeline; three half sisters; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Martin, Bill King, Charles Clark, Cordes Williamson, Lewis Furr and Frank ????.
