All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Clinton Wayne Durr - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal Decembe 29, 1999 Services honoring the life of Clint Durr, age thirty, of Baton Rouge, La., will be held in Tallulah, on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999 at 2 p.m. in St Edward Catholic Church. Father Ferre' D'Cruz will officiate. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Born Clinton Wayne Durr in Vicksburg, Miss., Clint lived in Tallulah and Monroe as a child. he was graduated from River Oaks Academy in Monroe, and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. At the time of his death at his home in Baton Rouge on Dec. 24, 1999, Clint was Manager of Cellular One in Baton Rouge. Clint was a friend to many and as an avid sports fan, he could be counted on to be in the LSU football cheering section. Clint was a loving husband to Jennifer Clement Durr and an adoring father to Maggie Elizabeth Durr of Baton Rouge. He is additionally survived by his mother, Betty Petersen and her husband, Russell; his father, Wayland Durr and his wife, Linda, all of Monroe; two brothers Rodney Durr, Arlington, Va., and Wayland Durr Jr. Monroe; father and mother-in-law, LaBane and Jeanette Clement, sister-in-law Pam Gardner and her husband, Dennis, of West Monroe and their daughter, Abby, grandmother, Cleo Durr, Waverly; step-brothers, Rusty Petersen and John Petersen and step-sister, Margaret Petersen, all of Tallulah. Clint was preceded in death by his grandparents, C. B. and Inez DeMoss and Larry Durr. Friends, Trey Cook, Baton Rouge and Scott Moore, West Monroe; and cousins, Michael Word, Baton Rouge; Lane Word, Tallulah; Chad Rundell; Jamie Gilfoil Magnolia, Tx. Mitch Gilfoil, New Iberia; and C. W. Keene, Tallulah will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dennis Gardner and Philip Deal, West Monroe; Mike Sevier, Tallulah, Edwin Moberly, Bill Robertson, Scott Ray, Jason Downes, and Mark Brown, Baton Rouge; Jodi Boyd, South Carolina; Al Abbott, Alabama; Rob Fairchild, Dallas, Tx; DeWitt Ginn, Walker, La. Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 28, 1999 at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Planned memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Memphis, Tenn.
