DYKES, Herman was born 9/8/1948 in Warden, LA to the parents of John L. and Beatrice Dykes. He graduated from McCall High School in Tallulah, LA and enlisted into the USAF in 1967. Herman retired with an honorable discharge from the USAF on June 30, 1987 as a Master Sergeant at Mather AFB. He retired on July 4, 2000 from McClellan AFB where he was a civil service employee.

He married his wife Carlie on 5/27/1972. On 4/27/2011, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ called him home.

Services on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Lawn, 4701 Marysville Boulevard, Sacramento, CA 95838.
