Eaker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 5, 1984 Services for Margie M. Eaker, 94, were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Eaker died Saturday in Hammond after a long illness. The Arkansas native had been a resident of Hammond for the past 12 years, and a former longtime resident of Tallulah. She worked as a housewife and was a member of Tallulah First United Methodist Church. Survivors include three sons, Gus Eaker and Bill Eaker, both of Tallulah, and Robert Eaker of Hammond; four daughters, Lillie Williams of Leland, Miss., Mamie Holt of Tallulah, Ruth Painter of Harahan, and Joyce Hargett of Birmingham, Ala. ; two sisters, Willie Price of Memphis, Tenn., and Jewel Webber of Terre Haute, Ind., 21 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Chris Cox, Craig Cox, Gus B, Eaker III, Donald Eaker, Al Montgomery and Larry Maskau.
