Earl - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 3, 1983 Services for G. B. Earl, 79, were 10 a.m. Tuesday in Crothers Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. David Lawrence and Xxxxn Alexander officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Earl died Sunday at Madison Parish Hospital after an illness. He was a Wesson, Miss., native, several year Tallulah resident, a road supervisor for Madison Parish Police Jury and a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church in Mississippi. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Mae Earl of Tallulah; two sons, Fred Earl of Quinlan, Texas, and J. W. Earl of Winnsboro; two daughters, Mrs. Virgie Richardson of Liberty, Miss., and Mrs. Bessie Thompson of Greenville, Miss.; brother, John A. Earl of Dodson; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Braswell of Wisner and Mrs. Mary Townsend of Winnsboro; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Ray Jobe, Austin Braswell, Garland Earl, J. P. Johnston, Edgar Barlow and Coleman Bamburg.
