TALLULAH — Johnny “Charcoal” Earl died Saturday, July 31, 2004, at his home in Tallulah. 
He was 65.

Mr. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Eloise Earl William and Frank Earl Sr.; 
three brothers, Frank Earl Jr., Lucious Earl and Herman Earl; and two sisters, Ernestine 
Earl and Vivian Earl Carter.

Survivors include his wife, Willie Dean Earl of Tallulah; two sons, Johnny Earl Jr. of 
Eugene, Ore., and John Fitzgerald of Vicksburg; three daughters, Gail Carr Martin of 
Vicksburg and Anita Earl and Keshise Earl, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Addie Lee 
Earl Carter of Vicksburg, Pinkie Earl of New Orleans and Edna Earl Fields of Houston, 
Texas; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and other 
relatives and friends.

Beckwith Funeral Home in Tallulah has charge of arrangements.
