All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Edwin Oils Edgerton Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 13, 1994 Funeral services for Mr. Edwin Oils Edgerton Jr., a longtime Tallulah resident, were held Wednesday, April 13, at Chapel of Hixson Bros., Alexandria, with the Rev David Booths of Calvery Baptis Church officiating. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery in Pineville. Mr. Edgerton, who was born in Arcadia in 1912, died Sunday April 10 at his home after a short illness. Mr. Edgerton was owner of a petroleum products distributorship and later was an Equitable Life Insurance representative, retiring in 1988. He was preceded in death by a sister, Katherine Edgerton Payne. Survivors include one brother, Fred R. Edgerton of Alexandra, two sons, Dr. Donald G. Edgerton of Alexandria and Dr. Edwin Otis Edgerton III of West Monroe; two daughters, Lacey Edgerton McClung of Pineville and Ann Edgerton Darling of Boca Raton, Fla.: eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
