Edgerton Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 2, 1997 Funeral services for Frederick R. Edgerton Sr., 75, were held Wednesday, March 26, at St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, Alexandria. Burial followed at Greenwood Memorial Park in Pineville. Edgerton died Sunday, March 23, 1997 in Alexandria. He was born in Crichton and grew up in Tallulah. He attended Louisiana State University before serving with the Army Air Corps in the Pacific during World War II. He was a long-time member of the Bolton Avenue Lions Club, and was a charter member of St. Timothy's Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife Edith; daughters Muriel Edgerton of Alexandria and Patty Edgerton Glasgow of Loveland, Colo.; son Ricky Edgerton of Shreveport; three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
