Edwards - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 4, 1974 Jessie A. Edwards Jessie A. Edwards, 59, of Tallulah died Tuesday morning at his residence after an apparent heart attack. Services were held at 10:30 Wednesday in the chapel of Funeral Home of Tallulah with Barney Holloway officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross here. Mr. Edwards was a native of Cullman County and a resident of Madison the past 40 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Josephine Edwards of Tallulah; three brothers, Hubert Edwards of Kellman, Ala., Herman Edwards of Gilbert and Otis Edwards of Wilson; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Leake of Winnsboro, Mrs. Imogene Reaves and Mrs. Ethel Newman, both of Newellton. Pallbearers were Leon Secrest, Robert Mathis, Dean Ashley, Arnold Goings, Kenneth Goings and Ray Goings.
