All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lalla Eggleston - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal April 23, 1965 Services For Mrs. Eggleston Held Recently Funeral services for Mrs. Lalla Eggleston, 83, who died in a Delhi nursing home last week after a long illness, were conducted at the Tallulah Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dan Lott officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Cupit-Young Funeral Home. She was born in Vicksburg, Miss., resided there for a number of years and had been a resident of Tallulah since 1932. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and had been active in garden club work. She is survived by a son, George Eggleston of Tallulah. Pallbearers were Robert Wiley Gandy, Rufus Yerger, Edward Yerger, R. E. Brown, Lucian Farr and R. L. Moncrief.
