All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Walter Bartlett Eisley - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal December 12, 1968 Funeral services for Walter Bartlett Eisley, 77, who died at Delta Haven Nursing Home last Friday morning after a lengthy illness were held Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Services were conducted in Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clark Bell officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery. He was a native and lifelong resident of Tallulah and was postmaster for a number of years. Mr. Eisley belonged to the Presbyterian Church and was a mason, and a member of the American Legion. He was also a veteran of World War I. Survivors include his widow. Mrs. Ada Mai Eisley of Tallulah; and six nieces. Palbearers were Dick Brown, R. R. Mitchell, J. C. Martin and others.
