All rights reserved. ************************************************ Hazel Walker Ellerbee - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, August 1, 2006 TALLULAH - Hazel Walker Ellerbee died Monday, July 31, 2006, at her home in Tallulah. She was 88. Mrs. Ellerbee was born in Sikes, La., and had lived in Tallulah since 1938. She was a retired secretary and bookkeeper for the Madison Parish Assessor's office. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ellerbee; and a son, Darryl James Ellerbee. Survivors include one sister, Marjorie W. Parker of Olla, La.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives, including Leslye D. Ellerbee of Tallulah. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Tallulah with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service. Pallbearers will be Tommy Bishop, Jim D. Sevier Jr., Sidney Johnson, Dale McGoun, Michael Lancaster and Ray Caldwell.
