Ellis - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, June 8, 1956 Funeral Service For Mrs. Agnes B. Ellis Held Tuesday Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes B. Ellis were held Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at the Methodist Church with the Rev. William F. Mayo officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Ellis died at her home 15 miles south of here Monday morning after a long illness. She was 90. She was a lifelong resident of this community and a member of the Methodist Church. Mrs. Ellis is survived by one son, Dunbar Ellis of Tallulah; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were K. M. McLeod, John Monsell, Fred Peterkin, Jim Parker, Brurchett Larr and Alnutt Cason.
