(Jane) Ervin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 1, 1989 Funeral services for Mrs. Elsie C. (Jane) Ervin, 85, were at 1.30 p.m. Sunday at the Tallulah First Baptist Church with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in the County Line Cemetery in Crystal Springs, Miss. under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Ervin died Friday at the Madison Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Mississippi and had lived in Tallulah for the past 46 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Hollis Ervin Jr., Ira Hugh Ervin and Tommy Ervin, all of Tallulah; two daughters, Martha Anne Gilbert and Beth Thomas, both of Tallulah; one brother, Harvey Conn of Tallulah; one sister, Amy Jacobs of Saucier, Miss.; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons, Keith Gilbert, Bug Gilbert, Vernon Thomas, Dickie Thomas, Hollis Ervin III, Ira Archie Ervin, David Hugh Ervin and Chuck Ervin.
