Erwin Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, May 14, 1981 Services for Leslie L. Erwin Sr., were at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel of Crothers Funeral Home with Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Erwin died Sunday in Granbury, Texas after a long illness. He was a native of Union Church, Miss. and a longtime resident of Tallulah. He was a retired farmer and operated a grocery in Tallulah for many years. Survivors include two sons, Leslie L. Erwin Jr. of Pinetop, Ariz., and Thomas E. Erwin of Casa Grande, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Erwin Kidd of Granbury; two brothers, Roy Erwin and Cliff Erwin, both of Tallulah; four sisters, Mrs. V.M. Fontenot and Mrs. Ludie Mitchell, both of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Hattie McMillan of Meadville, Miss., and Mrs. Velma Stroud of Greenville, Miss.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
