Erwin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 25, 1984 Services for Mrs. Virgie M. Erwin, 82, were at 1 p.m. Saturday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Burial was in Union Church Cemetery in Union Church, Miss. Mrs. Erwin died Thursday at Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Erwin was a native of Wesson, Miss., and had lived in Tallulah for the past 50 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Tallulah First Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of many social clubs in Tallulah. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Eatmon of Jackson, Miss., and Ann Alexander of Madison, Ala.; a brother, John Beacham of Lake Charles; two sisters, Sally Jo Beacham and Margaret Thedford, both of Brookhaven, Miss.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Michael Eatmon, Mike Miller, Scott Phillips, Jerry Lucas, Paul Barnes and Jimmy Schultz.
