All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Mina Bell Evans - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 27, 1973 Rites are held for Mrs. Evans Mrs. Mina Bell Evans, 89, of Tallulah, died at about 7:30 p.m., Sept. 18, at the Delta Haven Nursing Home here after a long illness. Funeral services were held at the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Lynn Brust officiating. Burial was in the Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton. Mrs. Evans was an Arkansas native, a resident of Tallulah for the past 16 years and a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by two daughters, Miss Pauline Evans and Miss Nola Evans, both of Tallulah; three sisters, Mrs. R. A. Baker of Tillar, Ark., Mrs. Maude McBride of Danille, Ark., and Mrs. Hettie Weldon of Fort Smith, Ark.; a grandson, Linton Crownover of Hall Summit and four great-grandchildren.
