All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Ethel Whitehead Everett - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 11, 1991 Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Whitehead Everett, 79, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Everett died Sept. 4 at Oak Woods Nursing Home in Mer Rouge following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Tylertown, Miss. and had lived in Tallulah for 65 years. Mrs. Everett was a housewife and a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Richard T. Everett and Ronald H. Everett, both of Tallulah and Donald Everett of Houston, Tex.; three daughters, Linda Arneson and Marguerite Bradley, both of Tallulah and Louise Crouch of Houston, Tex.; one brother, James Carter Whitehead of San Antonio, Tex.; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were George Rogan Jr., Archie Dickson, Elmo Rabb, Lloyd T. Erwin, John C. Watts Jr. and Ted Orjias.
