Fairbanks died Thursday, Jan, 13, 2005, at the Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 82. Mrs. Fairbanks was a native of Vienna, Austria, and lived in Tallulah for 58 years. She was a retired traffic guard with the Tallulah Police Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie W. Fairbanks. She is survived by her son, Archie Fairbanks Jr. of Oxford; three daughters, Patty Watts, Marilyn Bedgood and Margaret Leoty, all of Tallulah; 12 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Silver Cross Cemetery with the Revs. Paul Sabin and John W. Rushing officiating. Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home of Tallulah has charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Jared Fairbanks, Wade Watts, Jeff Watts, Cliff Watts, Dan Bedgood, Trey Leoty, Dickie Harris, Kevin Collins, Todd Knight and Erick Cherene.
