Farr - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 6, 1971 Final rites held for Louis Farr Louis E. Farr, 69, of Tallulah, died April 28 in a Vicksburg, Miss., hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel here with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was at Mt. Carmel Cemetery at Hamburg, Miss. He was a retired railroad worker, a native of Mississippi, and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 28 years. Survivors include three sons, Louis E. Farr Jr. of Houston, Tex., James Thomas Farr of Grimesland, N. C., and David Farr of Bethel, N. C.; three daughters, Mrs. James Walderns, Mrs. Charles Walderns, both of Woodson, Ark., and Mrs. Jack M. Varner of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. Llade Aldridge of Hamburg, Miss., and Mrs. J. V. Middleton of Clinton. Miss.: 20 grandchildren.
