Favors - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 6, 1999 Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy W. Favors, age 67, of Winnsboro, were held Sunday, Jan. 3, in the chapel of Community Memorial Funeral Home in Winnsboro. with the Rev. John Rushing and the Rev. Daniel Minchew officiating. Burial followed at Harris Cemetery. Mrs. Favors died Thursday. Dec. 31. 1998. at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe after an extended illness. She was a native and resident of Franklin Parish and a past resident of Tallulah. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Tallulah, and retired from service with the Madison Parish School Board. Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Dewey Favors of Winnsboro: two sons, Charles D. Favors of Tallulah and Dwayne E. Favors of Arlington, Texas; one daughter, Teresa R. Bell of Gibsland: two sisters, Delayne McKeithen of Delhi and JoAnn Wilson of Winnsboro: two brothers, J.Q. Weatherly of Zachary and Hollis Weatherly of Rayville; six grandchildren: and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were John Parker, George Parker Jr., Ray Jobe, James Lee, Lester Newton and Robert Bradley. Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro was in charge of arrangements.
