"Bill" Fell - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 17, 1991 Funeral services for Mt Willie F. "Bill" Fell, 70, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Masonic services were under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Graveside services and burial were in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Talbotton, Ga. at 4 p.m. Friday with Dr. Bruce M. Morgan officiating. Mt Fell died Tuesday, July 9 at his residence after a long illness. He was born in Yazoo City, Miss. and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 21 years. He was retired from Complex Chemical Co. Mr. Fell was a veteran of World II and a member of American Legion Post #100. Mr. Fell was Past Master of Tallulah Lodge #307, Past High Priest of Tallulah Chapter #67, past illustrious Master of the Oak Grove Council #31 and past Patron of the Madison Chapter #94 of the Order of Eastern Star. He was also a member of Monroe Commandery #7, Monroe Consistory, the Red Cross of Constantine, Ouachita Conclave, York Rite College of North America, the Royal Order of Scotland and the Barak Shrine Temple of Monroe. He served as Grand High Priest of the Louisiana in 1981 and Illustrious Ground Master of the Council in 1988. He was also a member of the Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rachel P Fell of Tallulah; one son, Glenn F Fell of Griffin, Ga.; five brothers, A. L. Alderman and Herbert Alderman, both of Rayville, Leo W. Alderman of Albany, Ga., Robert Alderman of Vicksburg and John W Alderman of Trinidad, Tex.; three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Anion of Rome, Ga., Mrs. Jean Hyde and Mrs. Thelma Hawsey, both of Alexandria; one grandson and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Dr. T. A. Neumann, A. J. Lewis, Jimmy Moore, Bill Pierce, Durwood Willhite Jr., Paul Howington, Bill Parker and Jim Bennett. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Masonic bodies.
