Fife, Mound, La., died Thursday morning, July 31st at a Vicksburg hospital, of tetanus (lock jaw). Graveside services were conducted at 5 :00 o'clock Friday afternoon, August 1st at Silver Cross Cemetery, with the Rev. D. Smith, pastor of the Mound Baptist Church, officiating. She is survived by her parents, Mrs. Oswald W. Fife, of Mound, and Mr. Fife, who is stationed at Fort Hood, Texas; two brothers, Oswald, Jr., and Newton Thomas; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Traxler, Mound; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Betty Fife, Vicksburg, Miss. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Young's Funeral Home, Tallulah.
