Finlayson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal November 2, 1994 Bertha C. Finlayson died Oct. 22, 1994, at the Country Wood Estates Nursing Home in Monticello, Ark. She was 89. A native of Missouri, Mrs. Finlayson had lived in Tallulah since 1936. She was a housewife and member of the First United Methodist Church of Tallulah. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, at the Chapel of Stevenson Dearman Funeral Home with the Rev. R. V. White officiating. Burial was in Oak Land Cemetery in Monticello. Mrs. Finlayson was preceded in death by two sons, Billy Finlayson and Pete Finlayson. Survivors include her husband, Bill Finlayson; one son, Bobby Finlayson of Woodbridge, Va.; two sisters, Inez Bridges of Monticello and Edna Medlock of Bradford, Ark.; five grandchildren, Charles Finlayson, Sara Finlayson and Billye Jo Finlayson of Tallulah and Richard Finlayson and Michael Finlayson of Woodbridge, Va.; two daughters-in-law, Gloria Finlayson of Woodbridge and Lois Finlayson of Verona, Miss.
