"Bill" Finlayson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal January 27, 1999 Funeral services for Mr. William J. "Bill" Finlayson, age 90, of Tallulah. La., were held Thursday, Jan. 21, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello, Ark. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Mr. Finlayson died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999. Born and reared in Monticello, Mr. Finlayson moved to Tallulah in 1936 to work for Gayle's Ice Cream Factory. He later operated his own refrigeration service and was an agent of the Life and Casualty Insurance Co. for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha, and two sons, Pete and Billy. Survivors include one son, Bobby Finlayson of Woodbridge. Va. and seven grandchildren.
