All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Hazel Ferguson Fletcher - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post February 2, 2014 SICILY, La. — Hazel Ferguson Fletcher, 82, of Delta, La., passed from this life Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014. Mrs. Fletcher was born May 24, 1931, to the union of Howard and Rosie Lou Ferguson. Funeral services will be held at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Sicily, La., Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Brother James King officiating. Interment will follow at New Pine Hill Cemetery. She enjoyed fishing, especially white perch, painting and raising flowers. She was a strong follower of the Lord. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Rosie Lou Ferguson; and two sisters, Velma Pitts and Violet Carlisle. Mrs. Hazel is survived by her husband of 35 years, Sidney N. Fletcher Sr.; three sons, Gary Edward Fletcher of San Diego; and Jim “Mike” Mitchell Hill of Vicksburg, Sidney N. Fletcher Jr. of Rockvale, Tenn.; three daughters, Caroline Peebles, Diane Wright and Sharon Fulgham, all of Vicksburg; three sisters, Ruby Halm and Margie Beard, both of New Orleans, and Joyce Grey of Vicksburg. Pallbearers will be her nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday from noon until the service time.
