All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lee Otis Florence - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 21, 1982 Services for Lee Otis Florence were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Church in Tallulah with Rev. David Lawrence officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Florence died Monday at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss., after a long illness. He was a native of Crowville and resident of Madison Parish for the past 58 years. He was a employee of the Louisiana Department of Highways, a retired farmer and a retired school bus driver for the Madison Parish school system. He was also a member of Montrose Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Gaines Florence and Edwin Florence, both of Tallulah; four daughters, Mrs. Bessie Lee Collins and Mrs. Odie Mae Reynolds, both of Tallulah, Mrs. Betty Sue Whitley of Hope, Ark., and Mrs. Grace Riley of Deer Park, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Pearl Peacock of Tendal; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
