Funeral services for Mrs. Barbara Faye Florice 67 of Tallulah, LA will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 17, 2015 at Acts Tabernacle Church with Rev. Greg Nichols and Rev. Seth Nichols officiating. Visitation will be held at Acts Tabernacle Church on Friday from 9 AM until time of services. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery of Tallulah under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.

 

Barbara was born on November 17, 1947 in Vicksburg, MS and departed this life on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. She was a longtime member of Acts Tabernacle Church (formerly) First United Pentecostal Church of Tallulah and was operator of Barbara's Jewelry Store at the McClure Street Mall.

 

Preceding her in death are her parents James Chaffin Martin and Winnie Faye Thornton Martin. Barbara is survived by one son Joe Chaffin Florice and wife Christal of Tallulah, LA; two granddaughters Alana Chaffin Florice and Rachel Marie Florice; a sister Beverly Ann Whitehead and husband Jerry of Longview, TX; an aunt Beth "Pete" McDaniel and husband Billy of Mize, MS; two nephews Jeremy Smith and wife Lindsay and Zach Whitehead and wife Michelle and a niece Amanda Smith.
