Floyd - Madison Parish, LA From Tallulah Madison Journal November 12, 1954 Harvey D. Floyd Of Waverly Dies Of Heart Attack Harvey D. Floyd, 68, of Waverly, a lifelong resident of Madison Parish, died at his home Monday following a heart attack. He was a member of the Midway Baptist Church. Services were held at the Midway Baptist Church at 2 p. m. Wednesday afternoon with the Rev Carlyle officiating. Interment followed in the Masonic Cemetery at Delhi. Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah, was in charge of the funeral arrangements. Mr. Floyd is survived by his wife, Mrs. H. D. Floyd; five sons, Monroe and E. O. Floyd, Waverly, Calvin, Seattle, Wash., Bishop, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Raymond of Monroe, La.; three daughters, Mrs. Ellen Mae Smith and Mrs. Cecil Huckabay of Sterlington, La. Twenty-five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were George Lewis, Mike Porter, Leroy Chambless, Ernest Stewart, Marvin Hooter and A. W. Showers.
