All rights reserved. ************************************************ Edna Faye Whitaker Fondren - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post December 4, 2003 TALLULAH — Edna Faye Whitaker Fondren died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 69. Born in Durant, Miss., Mrs. Fondren had lived in Tallulah for 15 years. She was a certified nurse’s aide and a member of the Church of Christ in Tallulah. Survivors include a daughter, Doris Stevens of Hazlehurst; a brother, Roy Whitaker of Jasper, Texas; a granddaughter; a great-grandson; and two nieces. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Hanvey officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight and from 10 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home.
