He was born August 22, 1930 in Tallulah, LA. Son of the late John and Cornelia Forlidas. He graduated from Clemson University, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Zagora Gear Products, Charlotte, NC. Nick was a member of Seaside United Methodist Church and an active member of the Sea Trail Men's Golf Association. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Hester Forlidas, son John and wife Cindy of Augusta, GA and daughter Karen Gaskins and husband Stephen of Wilmington, NC. He has four grandchildren; Chase Gaskins, Brittany, Cassidy and Nick Forlidas. He is also survived by his brothers, Angelo and Phillip Forlidas, both of Charlotte, NC. A service will be held 12 pm Saturday, November 9th at Seaside United Methodist Church, Sunset Beach, NC.
