Franklin - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, January 5, 1984 Mrs. Ella S. Franklin, 89, died Xxxxxday at Madison Parish Hospital in Tallulah after a long illness. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs. Franklin was a native of Mississippi and had lived in Madison Parish for 56 years. She was a housewife and a member of Franklin Baptist Church in Hinds County, Miss. Survivors include one daughter, Jewell Harvey of Tallulah; one sister, Cora Mae Edwards of Kansas City, Mo.; six grand-children; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
